What is required?
If you have yet to make a profession of faith in Christ, we require that you do so prior to becoming a member of Grace UMC.

To become a full member of Grace UMC your baptism, profession of faith, and membership vows are required.

If you have already been baptized, you do not need to be rebaptized.

The United Methodist Church understands baptism as a one-time sacrament that requires no repetition.

We therefore honor and recognize any baptism administered in a Church that proclaims Jesus as Lord.

How can I join Grace?
The opportunity to join Grace is extended every Sunday morning following the sermon. 

Simply fill out the membership card found on the back of the pew and come forward during the last hymn.

Please allow a few minutes after the service to greet the congregation, exchange new member information and photographs.

The nature of membership at Grace UMC
Joining Grace is unlike becoming a member of a club. It is a community of faith from which we are nurtured and through which we nurture others.

We draw upon the imagery of Paul: “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all of the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ and individually members of it”
(I Corinthians 12: 27).

 
The are a number of paths available namely, Profession of Faith, Baptism and Profession of Faith, Transfer from another denomination, Transfer from another United Methodist Church as you prayerfully consider membership at Grace to discern if it is the spiritual home for you.
